Community Day 2023

Thank you to over 1,200 visitors who came to our 2023 event! We were absolutely thrilled to have you and look forward to welcoming you and your families and friends back to St Paul’s in the coming weeks and months. Upcoming events and activities are featured in our parish events calendar.

Thank you to the team at the Hampshire Chronicle for covering this year’s Community Day!

Everyone is welcome!

What: Community Day
Where: St Paul’s Church, St Paul’s Hill, SO22 5AB
When: Saturday 13 May 2023, 10 am–4 pm
Who: All generations from the local community

We are excited to bring back our popular annual event. Imagine a village fete in the heart of Fulflood!

Community Day is a fun-filled, family-friendly day out with a host of indoor and outdoor activities for all generations. Delicious food & drinks will be served and our master bakers are ready to delight you with their creations. We have invited many local organisations to be part of our special day including the Scouts and local charities Home-Start and Southampton & Winchester Visitors Group, as well as Feed the Minds, Barnabas Aid and Tearfund. Plenty of activities for young and old, including a bouncy castle, splat the rat, chocolate tombola, nail & face painting and an all-age silent disco.

There will be live performances by a number of local groups and we recommend allowing plenty of time for your visit so you get to enjoy everything on offer. Arrive hungry and invite your friends and neighbours to come along!

  • Live bands & entertainment
  • Beer tent
  • BBQ
  • The Parish Café – delicious homemade cakes and more from our local master bakers
  • Fairground games
  • Silent disco (2 – 4 pm)
  • Bouncy castle
  • Children’s farm
  • Face painting
  • Dog show

Please accept our Facebook event invite to be kept in the loop and to invite your friends and neighbours to Community Day 2023!

PS: Please note that this is a cashless event. You can quickly and easily purchase tokens for all activities – games as well as food & drink – at the entrance to the site by scanning your card.
