Join in June

It’s ‘Join in June’ here at St Matthew’s and St Paul’s.
This is your invitation to find out more about the myriad of opportunities there are to volunteer and join in here in the parish.
You might not think you’re the obvious candidate. But there is something for everyone in our churches. Even making a cup of tea and chatting to a tired mum at one of our children’s groups is invaluable.
When thinking about joining in, a great place to start is by asking, ‘what brings me joy?’ Or, what role gives me a pang of motivation or a bubble of excitement? We all have unique personalities and gifts. We’re all likely to be most effective and fulfilled doing something that interests us and that we enjoy.

Any role here comes with safeguarding training, and in many cases further training and support.
