Ride + Stride

On Sat 14 September, 10 am–6 pm, thousands of people will cycle, walk, run or drive to raise money for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight’s historic churches and chapels. Participants seek sponsorship to visit as many churches on the yearly list as they wish; half of what they raise goes to the church of their choice and the rest to Hampshire and the Islands Historic Churches Trust. Our parish has been the very grateful recipient of funds raised in this way, with a generous pledge for Building for Life at St Paul’s, and before that supporting the new toilet extension at St Matthew’s.

Volunteers will be welcoming Ride + Striders at both of our churches – all are welcome.
