Special events

Community Day

Our annual Community Day is usually held on the first or second Saturday of May and is a fantastic celebration of the local and wider community. With refreshments, games, charity stalls, dancing, music and much more, this is an event not to be missed. Up to 1,200 people pass through the St Paul’s site, enjoying a fun day out as well as raising money for the parish.

Parish camping

This has been an annual event, with 40–50 of the congregation camping in the New Forest or making a day-trip to visit. The weekend usually includes swimming, walking, beer, ice creams and sitting and chatting around the fire and over shared food. On the Sunday, Holy Communion is celebrated in a special outdoor service.

Annual Show

The Annual Show is a wonderful enactment of a Bible passage or theme by our children and young people and pupils from local schools. Usually held in January or February at St Paul’s Church, this is a chance for children of all ages to get involved in whatever way they are comfortable – acting, dancing or singing.

Concerts

Many superb choirs and orchestras put on concerts and events at St Paul’s. If you would like to put on a concert in the church, please contact the parish office. For more information about what’s coming up, please see our calendar page.
