From the start of September 2021, the service planning team felt the time was right to pause booking for services, while continuing with well-spaced seating and mask-wearing. They will carry on monitoring the Covid situation carefully and be ready to adapt to keep everyone safe. So, for the time being, there is no need to book. All are welcome – just come!
The 9.30 Eucharist is also live-streamed each week. If you are feeling even the slightest under the weather, please take part from home.
Both churches are open each day, and we carry on sanitising door handles and other surfaces, trusting visitors to touch as few things as possible.
Some parish groups and meetings have now restarted, including Zoom coffee mornings every Thursday and our toddler group on Fridays.
There are opportunities to attend services at both churches each week, and the general pattern is set out below.
St Matthew’s offers traditional worship in a small, ancient, friendly setting through its Sunday and Wednesday services.
St Paul’s provides a vibrant 9.30 am Sunday Eucharist which welcomes people of all ages. Families with children and young people are well provided for with lots of different activities and opportunities to be part of the worship. Some weeks there are also Sunday 4 pm services particularly suitable for families; see the welcome sheet for details.
Please do join us one week. You would be warmly welcome.
