Regular services

Worship began again in both churches on Sunday 18 April, and the Wednesday Holy Communion restarted on 28 April. We have the same booking system as before with the express aim of including everyone who wants to attend as often as possible with the restricted numbers. The 9.30 Parish Eucharist will be live-streamed each week.

Meanwhile both churches are open each day, and we carry on sanitising door handles and other surfaces, trusting visitors to touch as few things as possible.

Parish groups and meetings continue to be on hold, with the exception of Zoom coffee mornings every Thursday.

Normally there are several opportunities to attend services at both churches each week, and the general pattern is set out below.

St Matthew’s offers traditional worship in a small, ancient, friendly setting through its Sunday and Wednesday services.

St Paul’s provides a vibrant 9.30 am Sunday Eucharist which welcomes people of all ages. Families with children and young people are well provided for with lots of different activities and opportunities to be part of the worship.

Please do join us one week. You would be warmly welcome.

These are the standard times for each week, but may be subject to change. Please check this week’s welcome sheet to make sure. Click here for details of how to find us. If you would like to join our electoral roll, click here to download a form.
